What makes peach different from pink?
Warmth. Pink is a cool colour and reads as soft or romantic; peach carries an orange undertone and reads as golden and a little nostalgic, which is why it photographs so well in evening light and why it has become a wedding palette in its own right. Next to cream and beige foliage it looks expensive; next to bright pink it looks muddy, so it is best kept in its own family.
Which flowers come in peach?
Garden roses give the best peach there is — Juliet-type peony roses in particular. Beyond them: coral and apricot peonies in season, peach ranunculus in the cool months, apricot lisianthus, peach carnations and the softer chrysanthemums. Peach dahlias run through late summer and autumn.
Can you build a whole arrangement in peach tones?
Yes, and it is worth asking for rather than picking from stock, because the collection here is small. Tell us the date and the setting and our florists will build the palette from whatever is genuinely good that week — peach is a shade where a substitution matters, so we will confirm before we cut.
How fast can you deliver?
Order by 10 PM for same-day delivery across London and Greater London, seven days a week. For the rest of the UK allow two to three working days, and give us a day’s notice where you can if the whole point is the palette.
