Ilford

Same-Day Flower Delivery in Ilford IG1

Ilford is the busy heart of Redbridge: a town centre built round The Exchange and the Elizabeth line station, long terraced roads running off Cranbrook Road and Ilford Lane, and Valentines Park with its mansion on the northern edge. There is no Floritta shop in IG1. Each bouquet is made to order at our studio in Bermondsey, SE1, and driven east along the A13 and A118, so an order paid before 22:00 is in Ilford the same day.

Terraces, new flats by the station and family homes round the park

The typical Ilford address is an Edwardian or inter-war terrace: Loxford, Clementswood and the streets south towards Ilford Lane are full of them, and there a house number is enough. Around the station and the town centre the picture changes — recent blocks of flats with a fob door, a concierge in some, a buzzer panel in most. Add the flat number, the name shown on the bell and a mobile that will be picked up. North of the centre, the larger homes by Valentines Park and along Cranbrook Road often have a porch; if you are happy for the flowers to wait there, say so in the comment. Sending to someone at work in the town centre? Weekday deliveries to an office, a shop counter or a school office go smoothly when somebody at the front can sign.

How a same-day order reaches IG1

Ilford sits on our east London run, after Stratford. When payment goes through by ten at night, the bouquet is arranged and delivered that same day, seven days a week, for the usual price. Same-day orders come without a fixed slot, between 9am and 11pm. If the date is later, the checkout offers a morning, afternoon or evening window and shows the delivery charge, and the basket value that makes delivery free, before you pay. For an evening family gathering, order a day early and take the 6pm–11pm window.

Ideas for flowers in Ilford

Birthdays are the usual reason to send flowers, so the birthday flowers are a good first stop. Roses and our larger bouquets suit an anniversary, an engagement or a wedding in the family; flowers in a vase need no unwrapping and no hunting for a jug; a plant is a lasting housewarming gift for a new flat by the station. Every order carries a card with your message, written out by hand by the florist.

Where in Ilford we deliver

The whole of IG1: Ilford town centre and The Exchange, the station and the High Road, Cranbrook Road up to Valentines Park, Loxford, Clementswood, Ilford Lane and the streets round the Kenneth More Theatre. We go further than the postcode too — Stratford (Stratford page), Walthamstow (its page), and neighbouring Forest Gate, Manor Park and Barking. Put a postcode into the checkout and it tells you at once whether we deliver there. All the districts we serve are on the London flower delivery page.

Is there a Floritta flower shop in Ilford?

No. We work from one studio in Bermondsey and make each arrangement once the order is in, so nothing has been waiting on a shelf. When it is ready we photograph it for you, pack it in a box and send it to IG1.

Can you deliver flowers to King George Hospital or to someone coming home from hospital?

King George Hospital is in Goodmayes, just east of IG1, and many hospital wards do not accept flowers at the bedside, so check with the ward first. If they do, give us the patient’s full name, the ward and a phone number, and we take the flowers to the main reception. Often the better plan is to send them to the house for the day the patient gets home.

What if nobody answers the door in Ilford?

The driver calls the number on the order. If there is no answer, the flowers go to a neighbour or to the safe place you named in the comment — a porch, a side passage, the concierge desk. Without instructions we keep the bouquet in the van and arrange a new delivery with you; it is never left on a doorstep in the street.

How late can I order same-day flowers to Ilford?

Up to 22:00, any day of the week; pay by then and the flowers go out today. The one exception is 24 December, when same-day orders close at 5pm. Anything paid after the cut-off goes on the next day’s run. Our cut-off times guide has the full picture for every district.

Can I choose a delivery time slot for IG1?

Yes, for any later date: 9am–1pm, 1pm–6pm, 6pm–11pm, or any time. A same-day order arrives between 9am and 11pm. On Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day the rounds run longer. If the flowers must land at an exact minute, message us on WhatsApp before you order and we will tell you straight whether it is possible.

Funeral and sympathy flowers in Ilford

We send sympathy bouquets to the family at home anywhere in IG1, and wreaths, sprays and tributes to the funeral director or the place of the service. Many Ilford families hold the service at the City of London Cemetery and Crematorium on Aldersbrook Road, a few minutes west in Manor Park. Tell us the venue and the time and the flowers arrive before the cortege. Our funeral flowers include all-white designs, wreaths and tributes around a favourite flower, each with a handwritten card.
