Archway

Same-Day Flower Delivery in Archway, N19

N19 starts where Holloway Road meets Junction Road at Archway station and climbs north and east from there: Upper Holloway, Highgate Hill up to the Whittington, Whitehall Park and the streets of Hornsey Rise. We do not have a shop at the Archway junction. Bouquets for N19 are made in Bermondsey, SE1, where our only studio is, after you order, and whatever is paid for before 22:00 gets to an Archway door that same day.

Hills, mansion flats and estates with entryphones

Archway is a hilly corner of north London. Highgate Hill and Hornsey Lane are steep, and on the side roads there is rarely space to stop, so the driver may park a little way off and walk up. Behind the main roads you find Victorian terraces, most of them now two or three flats with a row of bells, mansion blocks around Whitehall Park and large council estates where every block has its own number and an entryphone panel. Write the block and the flat number, and a door code if there is one; on an estate it often matters more than the street name. The tower over the station is now flats as well, with a buzzer at street level.

Getting today’s order to N19

Archway is on our north London round together with Crouch End, Islington, Camden and Hampstead, and the van goes out every day of the week. Once you have paid before 22:00, one of our florists chooses the stems, sends you a photo when the arrangement is ready and hands it over for delivery today; a late order costs nothing extra. Today’s deliveries are not booked into a slot, so expect them somewhere between 9am and 11pm. Planning for a later date? Ahead of payment you will see in the basket which windows are open, the delivery price and the amount above which we deliver free. Holloway Road and Archway Road get heavy at rush hour, so for a surprise at a particular moment the morning window is the safer pick.

New babies, nurses and birthdays: what N19 orders

A lot of our Archway orders are for new parents: flower boxes travel well and need no vase, which helps when a family has just come home from the maternity unit, and a potted plant asks for little attention in the weeks that follow. For birthdays people tend to pick from our birthday flowers; roses still win for anniversaries; and when a nurse or doctor is finishing a long run of shifts, colleagues often club together for one of our larger bouquets. Whatever you want on the card, the florist who arranged it writes it out in pen.

Where we deliver in N19

All of N19: Archway station and Junction Road, Upper Holloway station and the top of Holloway Road, Highgate Hill and the Whittington, Whitehall Park, Elthorne Park, Hornsey Rise, Hornsey Lane and the streets running up towards Crouch Hill. We also deliver right next door, to Crouch End, Holloway and Islington and Camden, Kentish Town and Dartmouth Park, as well as to Highgate and Finsbury Park. Not sure about an address on the edge of N19? Put it into the basket: whether we cover it shows up before payment. The full list of areas is on our London delivery areas page.

Does Floritta have a branch near Archway station?

No, there is no Floritta branch in N19. Each arrangement is made for your order in Bermondsey, not kept ready in a cold room, and a picture of it reaches you before the van leaves, so you know what the recipient will get.

Can you deliver flowers to the Whittington Hospital?

Yes. We deliver to the main reception, reached from Magdala Avenue off Highgate Hill. Many wards, including some in maternity, do not accept cut flowers by the bed, so check with the ward first and give us the patient’s full name, the ward name and a phone number. If flowers are not allowed, we can bring them to the family home instead, timed for the day mother and baby are discharged.

What happens if nobody is in when the flowers arrive?

First our driver phones whoever the flowers are for. Still no reply? Then they can be handed to a neighbour or left wherever you told us is safe, a porch or behind a gate, say. We never leave a bouquet on an open doorstep without your say-so; when none of that is possible, the flowers return to Bermondsey and we phone to arrange another delivery.

How late can I order for delivery to Archway today?

Any day of the week, up to 22:00. On Christmas Eve, 24 December, we stop taking same-day orders at 5pm instead. Pay later than that and the flowers go out tomorrow. Other London areas are compared in our guide to London cut-off times.

Is it possible to book a time slot in Upper Holloway?

Yes, for any day after today. The slots are 9am–1pm in the morning, 1pm–6pm in the afternoon and 6pm–11pm in the evening, or you can leave it open. A same-day order is not given a slot and is delivered from 9am to 11pm. In the busy weeks before Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, evening drops can finish late. Want the flowers at an exact hour? Ask us on WhatsApp first and we will say honestly if it can be done.

Sympathy flowers and funeral tributes for Archway

Condolence bouquets go to homes all over N19. Wreaths, casket sprays and lettered tributes we take to the undertaker or to the chapel itself. Archway families often say goodbye at Highgate Cemetery, just up the hill on Swain’s Lane, or at St Pancras and Islington Cemetery in East Finchley. Tell us the place and the time the service starts, and the tribute arrives before it begins. Our funeral flowers include classic white wreaths as well as arrangements in the colours the person loved, each sent with a card written by hand.
