Everything a customer usually needs before and after ordering, on one page: how an order works, when and where we deliver, what happens if nobody is in, how to change an order, what our freshness guarantee covers and how to reach a florist. Each section is short and links to the page with the full details.
How ordering works
Choose a bouquet in the catalogue or by occasion, then pick the delivery date at checkout. The date can be today or any day in the future, so an order placed tonight can be scheduled for next week. Checkout asks for a date rather than an hour; if the flowers have to arrive by a particular time, write it in the order notes or message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm it with you.
You can add a card message with the order, and we put it with the flowers. Before the bouquet leaves the studio, the florist sends you a photo of it, so you can see it and ask for a small change before it goes. If one of the flowers in a design is not available that day, we replace it with a similar bloom of the same or higher value and keep the look and colours you chose. If you need something today and do not want to wait for it to be made, the bouquets on Ready now are already made up in the studio.
Delivery at a glance
In London we deliver seven days a week, weekends and bank holidays included. Order by 10 pm and the flowers arrive the same day; most London orders arrive within eight hours of ordering, and you can choose a delivery window at checkout. A delivery at a set hour, late in the evening, at midnight or to an airport is arranged on request and may cost extra. The express and timed delivery page explains how it works, and Sunday flower delivery covers weekends.
Outside London, hand-tied bouquets go by courier and arrive in two to three working days; see delivery outside London. Flower baskets, balloons and chocolate-dipped strawberries are delivered within London and Greater London only, because they do not travel well by courier.
Delivery is charged at a flat rate and is free once the order passes a threshold. Both amounts are shown in your basket before you pay, and the delivery information page has the full terms.
If nobody is home
At checkout you choose what the courier should do: call the recipient on arrival, hand the flowers over in person only, leave them with a neighbour, at the door or in a safe place, or take them to a reception or front desk. The courier follows the option you chose. For offices, hotels and hospitals, give the building name and the name of the person at reception in the order notes, so the flowers do not wait in a post room. Regular office orders are covered on our business flowers page.
Changing an order
Message us on WhatsApp as early as you can and give the order number. Until the bouquet has been made we can usually change the flowers, the card message, the delivery address or the date. It helps to check the postcode and the recipient's phone number in your confirmation email or text as soon as it arrives.
Freshness guarantee and flower care
Our flowers are guaranteed to stay fresh for at least three days from delivery, as long as they are looked after the simple way we describe on the care card: trim the stems, put them in fresh water and keep them away from direct heat and sun. If they wilt sooner, send us a photo within those three days and we replace the bouquet. This is in addition to your statutory rights. If a bouquet arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, send photos to info@floritta.uk or on WhatsApp within 24 hours of delivery and we will deal with it with you directly.
Most bouquets last well beyond the guarantee. Our flower care guide explains how to make them last longer, and how long flowers last gives the typical vase life of each flower.
Gift cards, hampers and larger orders
A Floritta gift card is sent on the date you choose, or straight away, and is valid for twelve months. To send more than flowers, a hamper puts chocolate, wine or a vase in the same delivery as a bouquet. For weddings and events, start with wedding flowers and send us the date and the venue.
Christmas and bank holidays
Bank holidays are ordinary delivery days in London, with the same 10 pm cut-off. At Christmas, orders for addresses outside London have to be placed by 18 December. In London we deliver on Christmas Day and Boxing Day too, and on 24 December same-day orders close at 5 pm instead of 10 pm. The details are in Christmas Day flower delivery in London and when to order Christmas flowers.
Customer questions
What is the latest time I can order for same-day delivery?
10 pm London time, every day of the week, for delivery in London. The one exception is 24 December, when same-day orders close at 5 pm. Our guide to London delivery cut-off times explains what that means in practice.
Will the bouquet look like the photo on the website?
Yes, in design, colours and size. Flowers are seasonal, so a stem is occasionally swapped for a similar one of the same or higher value, and the florist sends you a photo of the finished bouquet before it leaves the studio.
Can I choose the delivery time?
You choose the date at checkout. A particular hour is arranged on request: write it in the order notes or message us on WhatsApp and we confirm it. Most same-day orders arrive within eight hours; if you need a particular time, choose a delivery window at checkout.
Do you deliver outside London?
Yes, hand-tied bouquets go by courier in two to three working days. Baskets, balloons and chocolate-dipped strawberries are London and Greater London only.
How do I change or correct an order?
Message us on WhatsApp with the order number as soon as you can. Until the bouquet has been made we can usually change the flowers, the card message, the address or the date.
What if the flowers wilt too soon?
Send us a photo within three days of delivery and we replace the bouquet, as set out in our freshness guarantee above. The full terms are in our terms and conditions.
How to reach us
The quickest way to reach a florist is WhatsApp on +44 7387 939120. For calls, ring +44 7458 683130, or email info@floritta.uk. The studio is at Unit 3, The Willows, 80 Willow Walk, London SE1 5SY, in Southwark, and works every day from 8 am to 10 pm. We are a delivery florist rather than a shop with a counter; the contacts page has the map. More answers are on our FAQ page.
