Tulips have two lives in a London flower studio. The British and European cool-season window — roughly November through to May — is when tulips are at their wildest and most varied: heirloom French tulips with curling stems, parrot tulips with feathered petals, double tulips that look almost like peonies. Outside that window, we keep tulips available year-round through carefully sourced Dutch imports, so a tulip bouquet is rarely out of reach. Because varieties and stem lengths shift between the seasons, our tulip bouquets are priced seasonally rather than at a flat rate — current pricing is always shown before you order. You will see soft pinks like Apricot Beauty, the dramatic dark stems of Queen of the Night, fiery Princess Irene, and the painterly Black Parrot across the year.

Caring for Your Tulips

A few small details make a big difference for tulips. Most arrangements hold for around 5 to 10 days, depending on the variety and the season. Trim the stems at an angle, place them in fresh, cool water in a clean vase, and keep them out of direct sunlight and away from radiators or fruit bowls — tulips are sensitive to the ethylene that ripening fruit gives off. Refresh the water every two days. Do not be alarmed when your tulips begin to lean and curve in the vase; it is not a flaw — it is the flower deciding where the light is.
