Flower Delivery UK

Flower Delivery Across the UK

Floritta is a London flower studio, and we send bouquets well beyond London. Every arrangement is hand-tied to order by our florists in Bermondsey, packed for the journey and sent by courier to addresses across England, Wales and Scotland. What arrives is the same bouquet we would hand over in person in London — made by the same florists, from the same flowers, photographed before it leaves.

How UK delivery works

Three steps, and no surprises in the middle of them. You order online and choose the delivery date at checkout. On the day the bouquet travels, a florist makes it — not the day before, not from a fridge — and we send you a photo of the finished arrangement. Then it goes by courier and reaches the address in two to three working days.

We say that plainly because it matters: outside London we are not a same-day service. If the flowers have to be there today, that is London only, and the page for it is express flower delivery in London. For everywhere else, order with the date in mind and the bouquet arrives made, not assembled from a box by the recipient.

Delivery cost and the free-delivery threshold are shown at checkout, and they are the same for a UK address as for a London one. Full terms are on our delivery information page.

What travels well — and what we do not send by courier

Not every bouquet should go in a van for two days, and we would rather say so than replace one afterwards. What we send across the country are the arrangements built to survive the journey: dense, single-variety bouquets and structured designs where every stem is supported.

Roses travel best of anything we make — they leave in bud and open at the destination, which is exactly what you want after two days on the road. See rose bouquets. Chrysanthemums and carnations are the other two that arrive looking as they left: unfashionably reliable, and the reason florists have used them for a century. Chrysanthemum bouquets and carnation bouquets both hold up. Flower boxes are the safest format of all: the stems sit fixed in a hydrated base, so nothing shifts in transit and nobody has to find a vase on arrival.

What we keep for London: garden roses at full blow, heavy hydrangea heads, peonies at the peak of the season and anything with a wide open face. They are beautiful on the day and unforgiving of a long journey. If your heart is set on peonies and the address is outside London, message us and a florist will tell you honestly what the season allows.

Where we deliver

Across mainland Britain — England, Wales and Scotland — to homes, offices, hotels, hospitals and event venues. Coverage is decided by postcode rather than by county, so the surest answer for any particular address is to enter the postcode at checkout: the available dates appear for that address specifically.

For a delivery going to a workplace or a hotel, give us the company or guest name and, where there is one, the floor or room number. For a residential address, a working mobile number for the recipient is what makes the difference between a delivered bouquet and a card through the door.

How this differs from our London delivery

The two services are genuinely different, and it is worth knowing which one you are buying.

In London we deliver on the day you order, seven days a week, with orders accepted until 10pm. In central London a bouquet can be there within three hours. The flowers are carried by our own couriers, from our studio to the door, and never spend a night in transit. That is the service described on our London flower delivery page, and it runs on Sundays and bank holidays too.

Across the rest of the UK the bouquet is made on the day it travels and handed to a courier, arriving in two to three working days. We choose the date; the courier chooses the hour. In exchange you get the same studio florists and the same flowers, sent anywhere on the mainland.

Sending to someone you cannot get to

Most of what leaves our studio for a UK address is going to someone the sender cannot reach in person — a parent two hundred miles away, a friend who moved, a colleague in another office, a family who have just had bad news. The distance is the reason for the order, and it changes what matters about it.

Three things we have learned about sending flowers that far. Put the recipient's mobile number in the order, not the sender's: a courier who cannot reach anyone leaves a card, and a card is not a bouquet. Write the message properly — when you are not there to say it, the card is the whole of what you say, and "love from" plus a name reads differently at the other end than you might think. And if the occasion is a difficult one, tell us in the order comment; a florist choosing for a bereavement makes different decisions than one choosing for a birthday, and we would rather know.

For anything going to a hospital, check with the ward before you order. Many wards no longer accept cut flowers at all, and where they do not, a plant or a gift set usually is allowed. If the patient is going home soon, the home address is the better gift anyway — it lasts past the discharge.

Business orders and multiple UK addresses

Sending to a list rather than to one person — a team spread across offices, a set of clients, a run of thank-yous after a conference — works the same way but is quoted individually. Tell us how many addresses, the spread across the country and the date they should land, and we will come back with options and a price. Regular arrangements for a reception or a boardroom are on our business flowers page, and company orders are invoiced with VAT.

Packing, and what happens to flowers on the road

A bouquet that travels is built differently from one that is handed over. Stems are cut to a length that suits the box rather than the vase, the heads are cushioned so they cannot press against each other, and the water source travels with the flowers rather than being added at the end. The recipient unpacks it, trims the stems and puts it in water — there is nothing to assemble.

Our freshness guarantee runs the same way it does in London: the flowers stay fresh for at least three days from delivery when the supplied care instructions are followed. If they wilt sooner, send us a photo within those three days and we will replace the bouquet. This is in addition to your statutory rights. Care instructions travel in the box, and there is more of them on our flower care page.

Christmas and other dates that fill up

For addresses outside London the Christmas cut-off is 18 December — orders placed after it cannot be guaranteed to arrive before the holiday, because the courier network, not our studio, is the constraint. In London we deliver up to 24 December.

The same logic applies to Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and the days around a bank holiday: the studio can make more bouquets, but the road does not get shorter. For those weeks, order two or three days earlier than you think you need to.

Questions about UK flower delivery

How long does UK flower delivery take?

Two to three working days to mainland addresses in England, Wales and Scotland. The bouquet is made on the day it is dispatched, not in advance, and you receive a photo of it before it leaves the studio. In London itself we deliver the same day, with orders accepted until 10pm.

Do you deliver flowers to Scotland?

Yes, to mainland Scottish addresses, on the same two-to-three-working-day basis as the rest of the country. Enter the postcode at checkout and the available delivery dates will be shown for that address.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland and the Scottish islands?

Our standard courier service covers mainland England, Wales and Scotland. For an address in Northern Ireland, on the Scottish islands or in the far Highlands, enter the postcode at checkout — the available dates are shown for that address specifically — or message us before ordering and we will tell you what is possible rather than guess.

Can I get next day flower delivery in the UK?

Our standard courier service is two to three working days, so we do not promise next day as a rule. If the date is fixed and close, message us on WhatsApp at +44 7387 939120 with the postcode before you order and a florist will tell you honestly whether it can be done. We would rather say no in advance than miss the day.

Can you deliver flowers the same day outside London?

No — same-day delivery is London only. That is the honest answer, and it is the difference between a studio florist sending its own work across the country and a relay network handing your order to a shop near the recipient. For an address outside London that needs flowers today, a local florist will serve you better than we can, and we would rather tell you that than take the order.

Is the bouquet the same one you deliver in London?

The same florists, the same flowers and the same studio — the difference is the format. We choose designs that travel: dense single-variety bouquets, structured arrangements and flower boxes, rather than the wide-open garden roses and heavy hydrangea heads we keep for hand delivery in London. You see a photo of the finished bouquet before it is dispatched either way.

How much does UK flower delivery cost?

Delivery cost and the free-delivery threshold are shown at checkout and are the same for a UK address as for a London one. Bouquet prices are on each product page; there is no separate surcharge for sending outside London.
