City of London

Same-Day Flower Delivery in the City of London EC2

Floritta delivers flowers across the City of London — to trading floors around Bishopsgate and Moorgate, law and accountancy offices near Bank and Leadenhall Market, flats in the Barbican, and hotels and restaurants between St Paul's and Liverpool Street. Bouquets are hand-tied to order in our own studio and delivered the same day, seven days a week.

Same-day flower delivery to City offices

We accept orders until 22:00 daily and deliver same-day across London. Delivery cost and the free-delivery threshold are shown at checkout. One practical note for EC addresses: many City buildings run a manned reception that closes in the early evening, so for an office delivery order earlier in the day and give us the company name and floor along with the street address.

Corporate flowers and client gifts in EC2

Most of what we send into the City is business rather than romance — a closed deal, a promotion, a new office, a client who deserves more than an email. Larger flower arrangements and flower boxes suit reception desks and boardrooms because they arrive already arranged in water and hold their shape through the day. For recurring reception flowers, see our flower subscriptions.

Congratulations and thank-you flowers for colleagues

Qualifications, promotions and leaving days all happen on the same few streets here. Look at congratulations flowers and thank you flowers; if the bouquet is going to someone who will then carry it home on the Central or Northern line, a compact hand-tie travels better than a tall arrangement.

Sympathy and get-well flowers sent from the office

When the flowers are going to a colleague at home or in hospital, our get well soon flowers and sympathy flowers are arranged in restrained, seasonal palettes. Add the card message at checkout and we will write it out and attach it to the bouquet.

Flowers near Liverpool Street, Bank and Moorgate

Most people searching for a florist near Liverpool Street or a flower shop by Moorgate are between a meeting and a train, and what they need is a bouquet at an address rather than a shop to walk to. Floritta covers the towers around Liverpool Street and Bishopsgate, the offices at Moorgate and London Wall, the Barbican estate, the chambers and courts by St Paul’s and Blackfriars, Farringdon and Smithfield, and the buildings around Bank and Cornhill. There is no counter to visit: the bouquet is tied in our own London studio after the order comes in and driven to the desk, the reception or the flat — the more useful thing when you are already late for the 18:12.

For a delivery timed around a train, put the departure time in the order comment and we will get the flowers to the address beforehand rather than to a platform. Deliveries to a building reception need the company name and the floor; a mobile number for the recipient saves the courier a call from the lobby.

Where we deliver in the City

We cover EC2 (Moorgate, Liverpool Street, Bishopsgate, Old Broad Street), EC3 (Leadenhall, Fenchurch Street, Monument, Aldgate), EC4 (St Paul's, Blackfriars, Cannon Street) and EC1 towards the Barbican, Smithfield and Clerkenwell. We deliver to offices, receptions, hotels, restaurants and residential blocks.

Bordering areas we also cover: Shoreditch, Islington, London Bridge and Canary Wharf. The full picture is on our London flower delivery page.

Is there a florist near me in the City of London?

There is no Floritta counter in the City — we are a delivery florist working from our own London studio, ten minutes away across the river. Bouquets are made to order and brought to EC1, EC2, EC3 and EC4 by our couriers, to reception desks and trading floors as readily as to flats in the Barbican. In practice that is a florist near you in the City, with delivery to the desk instead of a walk at lunchtime.

Can you deliver flowers to a City office reception?

Yes, and most of our City orders are exactly that. Give us the company name, the floor and the building, and any pass or goods-entrance instruction in the notes; the courier hands the flowers to reception and does not ring the recipient, so a surprise stays a surprise.

Which City postcodes do you cover?

EC1, EC2, EC3 and EC4, from the Barbican and Moorgate through Bank and Cheapside to Fenchurch Street, Aldgate and Blackfriars. Shoreditch and Old Street addresses in EC2A are covered on our Shoreditch flower delivery page.

Can you deliver flowers to the City at the weekend?

Yes — we deliver seven days a week. The City empties on Saturdays and Sundays, though, so for a weekend delivery send the flowers to a home address unless you know the building is staffed. If in doubt, choose Monday morning at checkout and we will hold the order. Weekend and weekday cut-offs across the city are listed in our guide to London delivery cut-off times.

Can you deliver flowers to St Bartholomew’s Hospital?

Yes. Barts sits at West Smithfield in EC1, inside the area this page covers, so it is a short delivery for us. We need the patient’s full name and ward; the bouquet is handed in at the main reception unless the ward has said otherwise. If the order is from colleagues, one card can carry the whole team’s names.

Is there a florist near Liverpool Street station?

Not a shop, but a delivery florist that covers it every day. Orders for Liverpool Street, Bishopsgate, Broadgate and the streets down to Moorgate are made up in our studio and driven over, so you can send a bouquet to an office or a hotel by the station without leaving your desk. If the flowers are for someone travelling, send them to the address rather than the concourse — station staff cannot hold a bouquet for a passenger.

Do you deliver flowers in the City of London on Sundays?

Yes — but the City is the one part of London where the day genuinely matters. On a Sunday the offices are closed and reception desks are unstaffed, so a bouquet sent to a workplace has nowhere to go. Residential addresses around the Barbican and Aldgate are fine. If in doubt, send it to a home address or read Sunday flower delivery in London.

Funeral and sympathy flowers sent from the City

When a colleague loses someone, flowers usually go to a home address rather than to the office. We make funeral flowers to order and deliver them anywhere in London, with the card message written by hand and no invoice or branding in the box. One order from the desk can carry the names of the whole team, and we can hold the delivery until the day of the service.
