Sunday Flower Delivery in London

Yes — we deliver flowers across London on Sundays, every Sunday, and it is same-day delivery like any other day of the week. Floritta is a working florist studio on Willow Walk in Southwark, and the studio runs seven days a week: the bouquet you order on a Sunday morning is tied by our florists that Sunday and goes out with our own courier the same day.

Sunday is the day most flower orders go wrong. A birthday falls on a weekend, someone lands in hospital on a Saturday night, a lunch invitation turns up at short notice — and a good part of London’s florists either skip Sundays altogether or close their same-day window in the early afternoon. Ours stays open until 10 pm, the same as every other day.

Order by 10 pm on Sunday for the same Sunday

Our same-day cut-off is 10 pm, and it does not change at weekends. Order on Sunday before 10 pm, choose Today as the delivery date at checkout, and the bouquet is delivered that Sunday. Orders placed after the cut-off go out the following day.

Because the flowers are conditioned and tied in our own studio rather than routed through a relay network, there is no third-party shop that has to be open for your order to work. That is the whole reason the Sunday window is as long as the weekday one. Delivery is charged at a flat rate shown at checkout and is free above our free-delivery threshold — the full terms are on the delivery information page, and they are the same on a Sunday as on a Tuesday.

The full range is available on Sundays, not a reduced weekend shelf

Some florists keep a short list of pre-made weekend bouquets. We do not: the whole catalogue is open on a Sunday, and the arrangement is made to order after you buy it.

That includes roses, seasonal peonies, tulips, hydrangeas and orchids, as well as flowers in boxes, arrangements in a vase, plants and add-on gifts. If you need something that is already made up and ready to leave the studio at once, the ready now shelf is the fastest option on any day, Sundays included.

Sunday deliveries to hospitals, hotels and restaurants

Weekend addresses are rarely a home address, and each type has its own rules. We deliver on Sundays to all three, and it is worth telling us which one it is when you order.

Hospitals. Visiting hours and ward policies differ between London hospitals, and some wards do not accept flowers at all. Give us the ward and the patient’s full name in the order comment; if the ward turns the delivery away, our courier calls you before doing anything else.

Hotels. Sunday check-ins are common and the guest is often not in the room yet. We hand the bouquet to the concierge with the guest’s name and the arrival date, which is what most central London hotels prefer — particularly around Mayfair, Marylebone and Kensington.

Restaurants and venues. For a Sunday lunch or a birthday table, tell us the booking time and the name the table is under, and we deliver ahead of the sitting rather than into the middle of it.

What Sunday orders are usually for

Weekend deliveries have their own shape. The three that come up most often are birthdays that happen to fall on a weekend, anniversaries kept for the Sunday because it is the day both people are free, and apologies or thank-yous that cannot sensibly wait until Monday.

Ready-made starting points: birthday flowers, anniversary flowers, thank-you bouquets, get-well flowers and new-baby flowers. Mothering Sunday is, by definition, a Sunday delivery day, and it is the single busiest Sunday of our year — on that date order earlier in the day rather than against the 10 pm cut-off.

Where we deliver on Sundays

The Sunday map is the same as the weekday map: all of London. Central and inner London addresses are the quickest from the studio in SE1 — Southwark, London Bridge, the City, Canary Wharf, Shoreditch, Chelsea, Notting Hill, Islington, Clapham and Hackney among them. Outside London the picture is different, and we would rather be straight about it: deliveries to the rest of the UK take 2–3 working days and travel on working days, so a Sunday order to a non-London address starts moving on Monday. If the recipient is outside London and the date matters, order in the week rather than at the weekend.

Bank holidays and long weekends

Bank holiday Mondays work exactly like Sundays: the studio is open, the cut-off is 10 pm, and same-day delivery across London runs as usual. Easter and the late-August weekend are ordinary working days for us. The one period that is not ordinary is Christmas, and the dates for it are set out separately on the Christmas page.

Delivery to a particular hour on a Sunday

Checkout asks for the delivery date, not a time slot. If the bouquet has to arrive by a specific hour on Sunday — before a lunch booking, before a flight, before someone leaves the house — write the hour in the order comment or send it to us on WhatsApp, and we confirm whether we can hold it before you pay. Sunday flower delivery in London: common questions

Do you deliver flowers on Sundays in London?

Yes. The studio works seven days a week and Sunday is a normal delivery day, with the same range and the same courier as the rest of the week. There is no Sunday surcharge and no shortened Sunday catalogue.

What time do I need to order for Sunday delivery?

By 10 pm on the Sunday itself for same-day delivery. The cut-off is the same every day of the week, bank holidays included. Orders placed after 10 pm are delivered the next day.

Is Sunday delivery more expensive?

No. The delivery charge shown at checkout is the same on Sundays as on weekdays, and the same free-delivery threshold applies. A fee can be added only for a specific arrangement you ask for — an out-of-hours drop, for example — and we tell you about it before you pay, never afterwards.

Can you deliver flowers to a hospital on a Sunday?

Yes, and Sunday is one of the most common days for it. Add the ward and the patient’s full name to the order comment. Some wards do not accept flowers as a matter of policy; if that happens our courier calls you from the door rather than leaving the bouquet somewhere.
