Leytonstone and Leyton

Same-Day Flower Delivery in Leytonstone and Leyton

Leytonstone and Leyton sit side by side on the Central line in east London, two stops that share a High Road, a forest edge and a football ground. Between them, E11 and E10 also take in Wanstead, Snaresbrook and the Bakers Arms crossroads. We have no shop on either High Road. Your bouquet is made after you order, by a florist in our Bermondsey studio (SE1), and carried east on the same day: settle the order by 22:00 and it arrives in Leytonstone, Leyton or Wanstead that evening.

Victorian terraces, converted flats and quiet Wanstead roads

Most addresses off Church Lane, Francis Road and the streets behind Leyton High Road are long Victorian terraces, and a lot of them have been split into an upstairs and a downstairs flat with two doorbells side by side. Please write “upper” or “ground floor” next to the house number, otherwise the driver has to guess. The new blocks along Lea Bridge Road and near Leyton station have intercoms and parcel rooms; say if the flowers may go to the parcel room. Wanstead and Snaresbrook are larger family houses with drives, where a side gate is the usual safe place.

How a same-day order reaches E11 and E10

Leytonstone and Leyton ride on our east London run together with Stratford, Walthamstow and Forest Gate, and that van goes out seven days a week. After you pay before 22:00, a florist picks the stems for your bouquet, sends you a picture of it finished, and the box sets off from Bermondsey that day, Sunday as well, at no extra charge for speed. An order for today has no slot, so the knock on the door can come at any moment between 9am and 11pm. Choose a later date and the basket lists the delivery windows, the delivery fee and the order total from which delivery costs nothing, all before payment. On a Leyton Orient home game the roads around Brisbane Road fill up in the afternoon and evening, so if the address is close to the ground, pick a morning window on a later date.

What people order for Leytonstone and Leyton

Birthdays come first here, as everywhere: the birthday flowers page is the quickest start. Mixed bouquets in bright colours are the usual thank-you for a friend or a teacher, while roses go out for anniversaries and on 14 February. A flower box needs no vase and stands on a kitchen table in a shared flat without fuss. For a new home or a new baby, think of a house plant, which keeps going long after a bouquet is gone. The florist who makes the order writes your card message by hand.

Which streets in E11 and E10 we cover

All of E11 and E10: High Road Leytonstone, Church Lane and Harrow Green, the roads around Bush Wood and Hollow Ponds, Wanstead High Street and Snaresbrook, Leyton High Road and Francis Road, Bakers Arms, Lea Bridge Road and the streets by Leyton Marshes. Beyond them we drive daily to Walthamstow, Stratford and Forest Gate, as well as Clapton, South Woodford, Woodford Green and Manor Park. For an address right on a boundary, enter the postcode in the basket and it will tell you before payment whether delivery is possible. The full list of districts is on the London delivery areas page.

Is there a Floritta shop in Leytonstone or Leyton?

There is not. Every order is made in one studio in Bermondsey, south of the river, and it is the order that starts the work: no bouquet sits waiting in a fridge. You receive a photo of the finished flowers before they set off east.

Can you deliver flowers to Whipps Cross Hospital?

Whipps Cross University Hospital stands on the Leytonstone side of E11, and we can take flowers to its main reception. Many wards do not allow cut flowers, so check with the ward first. If they are allowed, put the patient’s full name, the ward and your mobile number in the order. Often the nicer choice is to send the bouquet to the patient’s home, timed for the day they are discharged.

What happens if nobody is home in E11 or E10?

The driver rings the phone number given in the order. If there is no answer, the flowers can go to a neighbour or to the safe place you described, for example a side gate, a porch or a parcel room. With no safe place named, the box does not stay outside: the driver takes it back and we phone you to arrange another delivery.

How late can I order for Leytonstone today?

Orders paid by 22:00 go out the same day, every day of the week. The single exception is 24 December, when same-day orders stop at 5pm. Anything paid after the cut-off is delivered the next day. Cut-off times for the rest of the city are in our London cut-off times guide.

Can I choose a delivery time in Leyton?

For any later date, yes: morning (9am–1pm), afternoon (1pm–6pm), evening (6pm–11pm) or all day. Same-day orders come without a window, at any time from 9am to 11pm. Around Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day the evening drops can finish late. If the hour really matters, message us on WhatsApp before ordering and we will say plainly whether we can do it.

Sympathy and funeral flowers for E11 and E10

We bring sympathy bouquets to homes in Leytonstone, Leyton and Wanstead, and deliver wreaths, sprays and letter tributes either to the funeral director or to the service itself. Local families often hold funerals at the City of London Cemetery and Crematorium on Aldersbrook Road or at St Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Leytonstone. Tell us the place and the time the service begins, and the tribute will be there before it starts. Our funeral flowers include classic white wreaths as well as arrangements in the colours someone loved, each with a card written by hand.
