Caring for cosmos

Strip any foliage that would sit below the waterline and recut stems at an angle before placing in clean water. Use fresh flower food and keep away from ripening fruit as it is sensitive to ethylene. Keep in a cool spot out of direct sun and draughts, and change the water every couple of days.
