Dense spherical yellow flower heads on a single wiry stem
Flower head made of tiny tightly packed florets, like a small yellow ball
Grey-green narrow leaves mostly near the base
Firm, stiff, slightly hairy stem
No obvious scent

Care

Strip any foliage that would sit below the waterline. Recut stems and place in clean water with flower food. Craspedia is not sensitive to ethylene and dries well, keeping its shape and colour even when left out of water. Keep away from excess humidity to prevent mould on the heads.
