Thin wiry grass stems with fine feathery or seed-head plumes
Unnaturally bright or vivid colour (not a natural plant hue) from dye treatment
Dye often uneven or pooled at tips and nodes
Dry, slightly brittle texture compared with fresh greenery
Sold in bunches as filler material

Care

Treat as a dried/preserved filler: no water needed, keep away from damp and humidity. Avoid placing in wet floral foam for long periods as dye can bleed. Store flat or upright in a dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
