Custom Flower Arrangements for a Table, Not a Hand-Tied Bouquet
Not every custom order is a bouquet. A large share of what we build to order is an arrangement — flowers set into a vase, a box or foam so that they arrive finished and stay where they are put. That is the right choice for a dinner table, a reception desk, a lectern or a hotel room, where nobody wants to be cutting stems and hunting for a vase on arrival. It is also the choice for a centrepiece, which has to sit low enough for people to talk across it.
The brief we ask for is a little different from a bouquet brief: the height and width the piece has to fit, whether it is seen from one side or from all round, and whether it stands for one evening or for a week. Ready-made versions of both are on the site — flower arrangements and flowers in a vase — and any of them can be rebuilt to your colours, size and flower list.

How long does it take to make a custom bouquet?
The making takes under an hour; the lead time is about the flowers, not the labour. If the design uses what is already in the studio, a custom hand-tie can go out the same day — order by 10 pm for London delivery. If it needs a particular stem, a particular colour of rose, or a quantity we do not hold, we buy it at market, which means naming the flower a day or two ahead. Anything large, or tied to a fixed event time, is worth a week.
Can I send a photo of the bouquet I want?
Yes, and it is the fastest way to brief us. Send the picture on WhatsApp and our florists will tell you what is reproducible this week and what is not — a photograph taken in another season, or abroad, often contains stems that are simply not at market here. What we will do is match the shape, the palette and the scale, and say in advance where the result will differ. That is better than delivering an approximation you were not expecting.
Do you make custom bouquets outside London?
Yes. Custom orders are hand-tied in our Bermondsey studio and go out by courier to the rest of the country, so a bespoke bouquet can be sent to an address anywhere in the UK — see UK-wide flower delivery for how that works. The difference is timing rather than design: London can be same-day, the rest of the UK takes two to three working days, so a custom order going out of town needs agreeing earlier in the week.
What is the difference between a custom bouquet and a bespoke arrangement?
In everyday use the two phrases mean the same thing — flowers made to your brief rather than taken off the shelf. Where florists do separate them, “custom” usually means an existing design changed to your colours, size or flower list, while “bespoke” means starting from the brief with nothing fixed: your occasion, your palette, your budget, and a design drawn for it. Both are the same conversation with the same florists here, and you do not need to use one word or the other to get the right thing.
