Flower Subscriptions London: Are They Worth It?

What Is a Flower Subscription?

A flower subscription is a bouquet that comes back on a schedule. Instead of ordering flowers every time, you choose a bouquet once, decide how often it should arrive, and it is delivered again and again — weekly, every two weeks, monthly or once a year — until you pause or stop it. At Floritta it is the same hand-tied bouquet each time, so you know exactly what will arrive at the door.

How Do Fresh Flower Subscriptions Work in the UK?

At Floritta a subscription is built from a bouquet, not from a plan:

  1. Open any bouquet in our bouquet catalogue and press Get subscription with it on its page.
  2. Choose the frequency: weekly, every two weeks, monthly or once a year.
  3. Pick the date of the first delivery. It is at least three days ahead, so the florists can order the stems for it.
  4. Enter the delivery address: your own home, an office, or the person you are giving the subscription to.

That bouquet is then delivered on your schedule. If you would like something different, pick another bouquet and start a subscription from that one.

How Much Does a Flower Subscription Cost?

Each delivery costs the price of the bouquet you chose, and nothing more. Delivery is included in every subscription delivery whatever the bouquet costs, so the usual delivery charge does not apply. There is no membership fee and no plan to buy. Each payment is taken three days before the delivery it pays for, which leaves time to change or stop the subscription before it charges again.

Are Flower Subscriptions Worth It?

A subscription is worth it if you already buy flowers often, or if you want to give a present that keeps arriving. What it changes:

  • Delivery is included — every subscription delivery is free, even for a smaller bouquet.
  • No effort — the flowers arrive on the dates you set, and nobody has to remember to order.
  • You know what you get — it is the bouquet you picked, made fresh by our florists for each delivery.
  • You stay in control — pause, resume or skip a single delivery from your account at any time.

Who Are Flower Subscriptions Perfect For?

People start subscriptions for three reasons. For their own home: a weekly or fortnightly bouquet on the kitchen table. As a gift: a monthly bouquet for a mother, a partner or a friend, or a once-a-year delivery on a birthday or an anniversary that will never be forgotten again. And for work: reception desks, studios and salons that want fresh flowers every week. Offices and companies have their own business flower subscriptions with VAT invoices, and hotels and restaurants can arrange contract flowers for several sites on one account.

Flower Subscriptions in London — Delivered by Floritta

Floritta is a London florist with a studio in SE1. Every subscription bouquet is hand-tied for its delivery date and brought to the door like any other London flower delivery of ours. Classic rose bouquets and seasonal autumn flowers both work well on a schedule. Balloons and anything containing alcohol cannot be bought on subscription; those are ordered through the normal checkout.

Can I pause or skip a flower subscription?

Yes. In your account you can pause the subscription, resume it later or skip a single delivery, for example while you are away. Each payment is taken three days before its delivery, so a change made before then applies to that delivery.

Can I give a flower subscription as a gift?

Yes. Enter the recipient’s address as the delivery address when you start the subscription. A monthly subscription works as a gift for a season or a year; a once-a-year subscription is a simple way never to miss a birthday or an anniversary.

Can I change the bouquet in my subscription?

A subscription repeats the bouquet it was started from. To receive a different one, start a new subscription from that bouquet’s page and pause or stop the old one in your account.

How soon does the first subscription delivery arrive?

The first delivery can be booked for three days from today or any later date. If you need flowers sooner, order a bouquet for same-day delivery as well and let the subscription begin a few days later.

Choose a bouquet to start your flower subscription.
