Floritta delivers funeral flowers across London — to funeral directors, churches, crematoria and private homes. Same-day delivery is available for orders placed by 10pm. Every wreath, sheaf, spray and sympathy bouquet is hand-arranged in our London studio and delivered with care and discretion, timed to the service you tell us about. Funeral Flowers — Questions We Are Asked

What is the difference between funeral flowers and sympathy flowers?

Who receives them and where. Funeral flowers go to the service — wreaths, sheaves, sprays, posies and casket tributes, addressed to the funeral director, the church or the crematorium, and timed to arrive before the ceremony. Sympathy flowers go to the family, at home or at work, and can be sent at any point, including weeks afterwards when everyone else has stopped calling.

Which tribute should I send, and what do the shapes mean?

A wreath is the traditional circle and is usually sent by family or close friends. A sheaf lies flat and is carried or placed by the graveside; it is the most common choice for friends and colleagues. A spray is arranged to be seen from one side, often on the casket itself. A posy or basket is smaller and is the gentler option for a child’s funeral or a small service. If you are unsure, call us and we will tell you what is appropriate for the service you are describing.

Can you spell out a name or a word in flowers?

Yes — MUM, DAD, NAN and names are made to order on a frame. Lettered tributes take longer to make than a wreath, so give us as much notice as you can, and tell us the exact spelling and the colours when you order.

When should the flowers arrive, and where do I send them?

To the funeral director rather than the family, unless you have been told otherwise, and to arrive the morning of the service or the day before. Give us the name of the deceased, the funeral director’s address and the time of the service, and we will time the delivery to it. Order by 10 PM for same-day delivery across London; for anything lettered or bespoke, please allow more.

Can I order over the phone if I would rather not do this online?
