Character Balloon Sets, Delivered Inflated and Floating
Every set on this page is a ready-made balloon bouquet for a child: a large foil character in the middle, a cluster of latex balloons around it in colours chosen to match, weighted and ribboned so it stands on a table or floats beside a chair. They are filled with helium in our London studio and handed over floating — nothing to blow up, no pump to find, no assembling in front of an impatient four-year-old. There are close to forty character sets here. Most sit between £35 and £69; the smallest four- and five-balloon clusters are the cheapest on the page, and the largest is an eighteen-balloon cat-and-hearts cluster. Every product shows what it costs today, VAT included.
The Characters We Actually Keep in Stock
This is a real list rather than a promise: Hello Kitty and a whole shelf of cats — princess kitty, midnight cats, golden meow, a confetti cat set — plus capybaras, koalas, pandas, elephants, puppies, bunnies, unicorns and ponies, dinosaurs for both a small boy and a small girl, dolphins and whales for an undersea party, teddy bears sitting on a blue or a pink moon, clouds and stars for a nursery, a deer, a Baby Yoda and a Grogu galaxy set for the Star Wars household, and gaming sets — level up, gamer's birthday — for the age when characters stop being cute and start being controllers. If the character you want is not here, tell us in the order notes: we can often build a similar set in the same colours, and we would rather say no in advance than send something close but wrong.
Choosing a Set by the Child's Age
For a first birthday and for babies, the small pastel clusters work best — clouds, teddies on a moon, a sleepy sky set. They photograph well, they are not overwhelming, and they pair naturally with new baby flowers if the gift is really for the parents. Between two and six, characters carry the day: dinosaurs, unicorns, kitties, capybaras — the child recognises the face before they read the name. From about seven to twelve, sets get bigger and the theme gets specific: gaming, space, jungle animals, an eighteen-balloon cluster that fills a corner of the room. For teenagers, the character sets usually stop working and the grown-up metallic and letter sets on the main balloon bouquets page take over, along with single silver number balloons for the age.
Flowers, Balloons and a Teddy in One Delivery
Most children's balloon orders are not balloons alone — they are a birthday delivery: flowers for the mother, balloons for the child, sometimes something sweet as well. That is one order here. Put a birthday bouquet and a balloon set in the same basket and they travel together, to the same address, at the same time, with no second delivery charge. Latex, Foil and How Long a Set Lasts
Two things behave differently inside the same bouquet. The foil character — the cat, the dinosaur, the number — holds helium well and usually floats for several days, often a week or more indoors. The latex balloons around it are porous: helium-filled, they float for about a day, sometimes into a second, and then settle. That is normal rather than a fault, and it is worth knowing before a party: a set delivered the morning of the party looks right all day, a set delivered two days early will be the foil character with latex resting below it. Foil also reacts to temperature — in a cold hallway it shrinks and looks half-empty, and it fills out again within minutes in a warm room, so a set that arrives soft on a January morning usually needs nothing but ten minutes indoors.
Balloons and Small Children — What to Know
Balloons are not toys for children under eight without an adult nearby. Uninflated and burst latex is a choking hazard, which is why our sets arrive already inflated and tied, and why we ask that broken pieces are picked up straight away. Keep balloons away from radiators, hobs, direct sun and anything sharp, and never release them outdoors — helium balloons come down somewhere, and that somewhere is usually a field or the sea. If the set is going to a children's ward, a nursery or a school, say so in the order notes before you order: many wards and some nurseries do not allow latex at all, and we will tell you what can be built in foil only, or whether the address will accept a balloon delivery at all, before anything is made up.
Same-Day Kids' Balloon Delivery in London
Order by 10 pm and we deliver the same day across London and Greater London, seven days a week, including weekends — Chelsea, Kensington, Fulham, Notting Hill, Islington, Southwark, Canary Wharf and the areas around them. Anything ordered after the cut-off goes the following day; our guide to London flower delivery cut-off times explains what that means in practice. A party delivery can be booked ahead for a specific date. Inflated balloons are carried by hand rather than sent as a parcel, which is exactly why they arrive floating; the same terms as the rest of our London flower delivery. One thing to settle before you order: balloons are a London-only delivery. Helium sets cannot be sent by courier to the rest of the country, so if the child's address is outside London, order flowers on their own — those we deliver UK-wide in two to three working days. Delivery is charged at a flat rate and is free once the order passes our free-delivery threshold; the current rate and threshold are shown in your basket and at checkout.

Do you have Hello Kitty balloons?

Can I order flowers and balloons together for a birthday?
Yes, and this is how most orders on this page are placed. Add a bouquet and a balloon set to the same basket: they are delivered together, to the same address, as a single order, with no extra delivery charge for combining them.
Can I get kids' balloons delivered the same day in London?
Yes. Order by 10 pm and the set is delivered the same day anywhere in London and Greater London, seven days a week. Orders placed after the cut-off go out the next day, and you can also book a set for a specific future date.
Do the balloons arrive already inflated with helium?
Yes. Every set is filled with helium in our studio, tied, weighted and delivered floating and ready to hand over. Nothing needs to be inflated or assembled on arrival.
How long will the balloons last after the party?
The foil character usually floats for several days and often a week or more indoors. The latex balloons around it float for about a day, sometimes a little longer, and then settle — so order for the day of the party rather than several days ahead.
Are helium balloons safe for a young child?
Inflated balloons are fine with an adult nearby, but children under eight should not be left alone with them: burst and uninflated latex is a choking hazard. Clear away any pieces straight away, keep the set away from heat and sharp edges, and do not release balloons outdoors.
Can you deliver balloons to a hospital or a nursery?
Sometimes, and it depends on the ward or the setting rather than on us. Many children's wards and some nurseries do not allow latex balloons. Tell us the destination in the order notes before you order and we will confirm what can be built in foil only, or suggest flowers instead if the address will not take balloons at all.
Do you deliver kids' balloons outside London?
No. Inflated helium balloons are available for London and Greater London delivery only — they cannot travel by courier. Flowers, boxes and plants we do deliver UK-wide in two to three working days, so for an address outside London a bouquet with a written message is the workable version of the same gift.
