Firm round berries in clusters along wiry stems
Berries green, sometimes with a slight blush not yet showing colour
Small narrow leaves along the stem
No petals present, foliage sparse near berries
Stems straight and woody-green

Care

Strip any foliage that will sit below the waterline and recut stems at an angle before placing in clean water. Keep away from ripening fruit and other ethylene sources as this speeds berry drop and colour change. Use flower food to extend berry firmness. Avoid overcrowding to prevent bruising of berries.
