Every irises variety we work with in our London studio – how to tell them apart, when they are in season and how to make them last.

Caring for irises
Recut stems at an angle and remove any foliage that sits below the waterline. Use clean water with flower food and keep away from ripening fruit as irises are sensitive to ethylene. Buds open quickly in a warm room, so keep cool until needed and change water every couple of days.

- Recut 2–3 cm at an angle
