How to recognise it

Silvery-grey, narrow, lance-shaped leaves in opposite pairs
Leaves are leathery and matte, silvery-white on the underside
Woody, flexible stems, sometimes with small knots
No flowers on the bunch, foliage only
Olive-green to grey-green colouring overall

Care

Strip any leaves that will sit below the waterline, then recut the stems on an angle. Use clean water with flower food and keep away from ripening fruit and other ethylene sources. Olive foliage is hardy and tolerates dry handling well, but recutting extends its life.
