Petals papery and soft, prone to bruising when fully open

Care

Strip leaves that would sit below the waterline and recut stems at an angle under water. Use clean buckets with flower food, as peonies are prone to botrytis. Keep away from direct sun and heat, and give them space to open without crowding.
