Sedum shows clusters of small star-shaped flowers atop fleshy, succulent stems, often in soft pink or green tones. Florists use it to bring texture and depth to mixed bouquets and autumnal designs.
Strip any foliage that would sit below the waterline. Recut stems and give clean water; sedum is not sensitive to ethylene and tolerates being out of water for longer than most flowers. Keep away from direct heat. Change water every few days to prevent cloudiness.
