Gypsophila produces clouds of tiny white flowers on thin, branching stems. Florists use it to add softness and volume, filling gaps between larger blooms.
Strip any foliage that will sit below the waterline and recut stems before placing in clean water. Use flower food as gypsophila is sensitive to bacterial blockage. Keep away from ripening fruit and other ethylene sources, as it is sensitive to ethylene and will drop florets. Keep in a cool spot out of direct sun and draughts.
