How to recognise it

Branching wiry stems with many small papery flowers
Clusters of tiny calyces giving an airy, sprayed look
Narrow, sparse foliage mostly at the stem base
Dry, papery texture even when fresh
No noticeable scent

Care

Strip any foliage that would sit below the waterline. Recut stems and place in clean water with flower food. Limonium is not sensitive to ethylene and lasts well, but keep away from direct heat and draughts. Change water regularly to prevent cloudiness.
