Limonium produces airy sprays of tiny papery flowers in soft purple, pink or white. Florists use it as a delicate filler that adds texture and volume to bouquets.
Strip any foliage that would sit below the waterline and recut stems before placing in fresh water. Limonium is not sensitive to ethylene and has a naturally long vase life. Keep water clean and change it every few days; it tolerates low humidity well, which also makes it suitable for drying.
