How to recognise it

Multiple blooms per stem, typical of spray roses
Smaller flower heads than standard roses
Buds open progressively along branching stem
Glossy dark green foliage with thorny stem
Compact rounded bloom form typical of spray type

Care

Strip lower leaves and thorns that would sit below the waterline. Recut stems at an angle under water and place in clean water with flower food. Roses are sensitive to ethylene, so keep away from ripening fruit. Keep cool and change water every two days.
