Care

Strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline and remove thorns that may damage other stems. Re-cut stems at an angle under water or immediately before placing in fresh water. Use clean buckets and flower food, as roses are sensitive to bacteria in dirty water. Keep away from direct heat and draughts; roses are not especially ethylene-sensitive but benefit from cool conditions.
