How to recognise it

Large-flowered (standard) rose with one bloom per stem
High-centred bud typical of standard roses
Sturdy straight stem with few or de-thorned sections
Glossy mid-green compound leaves with serrated edges
No strong scent assumed – do not describe colour

Care

Strip any foliage that would sit below the waterline and recut stems at an angle under water. Use clean buckets with fresh flower food and change the water every two days. Keep away from ripening fruit and other ethylene sources, and away from direct heat or draughts.
