How to recognise it

Spray rose with multiple blooms per stem (branching habit)
Smaller blooms than standard roses, usually 4-8 per stem
Buds in various stages of opening along branched stem
Compound leaves with serrated leaflets, typically glossy
Thorny stem, firm and straight

Care

Strip lower leaves and any foliage below the waterline. Recut stems at an angle under water before placing in a clean vase with fresh flower food. Roses are sensitive to ethylene, so keep away from ripening fruit. Use clean buckets and change water every two days.
