How to recognise it

Multiple blooms per stem (spray type, not single-head)
Several buds and open flowers branching from one stem
Smaller flower heads than standard roses
Compound leaves with serrated leaflets and thorny stem
Firm, high-set buds typical of spray roses

Care

Strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline and remove thorns as needed. Recut stems at an angle under water before placing in a clean vase with flower food. Keep away from ripening fruit and other ethylene sources, and top up or change water every two days.
