How to recognise it

Standard large-flowered (hybrid tea) rose with one bloom per stem
Classic high-centred bud, spiralled outer petals
Dark green glossy foliage
Firm bud, not fully open at delivery

Care

Strip any foliage that would sit below the waterline and recut stems at an angle under water. Use clean buckets with fresh flower food and keep away from ethylene sources such as ripening fruit. Keep roses cool and out of direct sun or draughts, and recut every few days to maintain water uptake.
