How to recognise it

Multiple blooms per stem (spray form) with a central bud and side buds
Each bloom smaller than standard rose type
Compound leaves with 3–5 leaflets, glossy, serrated edges
Thorny stem, firm and straight
Mild classic rose scent, variable by cultivar

Care

Strip lower leaves and thorns that would sit in water. Recut stems at an angle under water and use clean buckets with flower food. Keep away from ethylene sources and ripening fruit. Store cool to slow opening and extend vase life.
