How to recognise it

Standard large-flowered rose with one bloom per stem
High-centred bud typical of hybrid tea roses
Firm straight stem with thorns
Glossy mid-green compound leaves with serrated edges
Sepals folded back as bloom opens

Care

Strip lower leaves and thorns that would sit under water. Recut stems at an angle under water and use a clean bucket with fresh flower food. Keep away from ripening fruit and other ethylene sources. Change water every two to three days and keep stems cool.
