How to recognise it

Large-flowered (hybrid tea) rose with one bloom per stem
Classic high-centred spiral bud typical of standard roses
Firm, straight stem with regular thorns
Glossy, dark green compound leaflets (usually 5–7 per leaf)

Care

Strip any foliage that would sit below the waterline and recut stems at an angle under water. Use clean buckets and fresh flower food, changing water every two days. Keep away from ripening fruit and other ethylene sources, and avoid draughts or direct heat.
