How to recognise it

Large-flowered (hybrid tea) rose with one bloom per stem
High-centred pointed bud opening to a classic spiral form
Long straight stem with few thorns relative to size
Glossy mid-green foliage along the stem
Sweet classic rose scent

Care

Strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline and remove thorns as needed. Recut stems at an angle under water before placing in clean water with flower food. Keep away from ripening fruit and other ethylene sources, and avoid direct heat or sun. Change water and recut every 2–3 days.
