How to recognise it

Spray rose with multiple blooms per stem (not one head per stem)
Several side buds opening around a central flower
Petals form a classic rose bloom shape, layered and cupped
Smaller foliage with leaflets in groups of 3–5 and small thorns on the stem
Stem branches into multiple flowering laterals

Care

Strip any foliage that would sit below the waterline and remove thorns if required. Recut stems at an angle under water before placing in a clean vase with flower food. Keep away from ripening fruit and other ethylene sources, and away from direct heat or sunlight. Change the water and recut stems every 2–3 days.
