Solidago bears tiny bright yellow flowers in feathery plumes, adding a soft, golden texture. Florists use it as a filler to brighten bouquets and complement larger blooms.
Strip any foliage that will sit below the waterline. Recut stems at an angle and place in clean water with flower food. Keep away from ripening fruit and other ethylene sources, as florets can shatter and drop quickly once mature. Avoid very warm rooms to extend life.
