Tiny bright yellow flower clusters forming feathery plumes
Many small branching stems off one main stalk
Narrow lance-shaped leaves along the stem
Fine, almost powdery texture to the flower heads
Slightly bitter, herbaceous scent

Care

Strip any foliage that would sit below the waterline and recut stems at an angle before placing in fresh water. Keep away from ripening fruit and other ethylene sources, as it is sensitive to it and can shed pollen and petals quickly once mature. Keep in a cool spot out of direct sun and draughts, and change water every two days.
