How to recognise it

Spray form with several blooms per stem
Multiple side branches from a central stem
Double or semi-double daisy-type flowerheads typical of spray chrysanthemums
Mid-green lobed foliage along the stem
Firm, slightly hairy stem

Care

Strip any foliage that would sit below the waterline. Recut stems at an angle and place in clean water with flower food. Chrysanthemums are not sensitive to ethylene, so they can be stored with most other flowers. Change the water and recut every few days to keep it fresh.
