Mini gerbera – single flower per stem, smaller bloom than standard gerbera
Daisy-like flower with ray petals around a central disc
Dark or contrasting central disc (eye) typical of bicolour types
Thick hairy stem, basal foliage usually removed before sale
Sturdy stiff stem compared to many other daisy-type flowers

Care

Recut stems under water and remove any foliage that would sit below the waterline. Use a clean bucket with fresh flower food solution, as gerbera are prone to stem rot and bent neck. Keep water shallow and change it frequently, avoiding dirty or warm water. Keep away from ripening fruit and other ethylene sources.
