How to recognise it

Silvery-grey, felted leaves with a soft velvety texture
Deeply lobed, almost lace-like leaf shape
Stems also covered in fine white down
No visible flowers when sold as foliage
Leaves hold a stiff, upright habit

Care

Strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline to avoid rot. Recut stems and use clean water with flower food. Not sensitive to ethylene. Keep away from excess humidity, which can cause the felted leaves to spot.
