How to recognise it

Double, ruffled rose-like blooms with many thin petals
Multiple buds and flowers per branching stem
Smooth, slightly succulent blue-green oval leaves in opposite pairs
Buds are rounded and tightly furled before opening
Thin, firm stems that bruise easily if squeezed

Care

Strip any foliage that would sit below the water line to keep the water clean. Recut stems at an angle under water and use flower food, as eustoma drinks heavily. It is sensitive to ethylene, so keep away from ripening fruit and old flowers. Keep in clean, cool water and change it every two days.
