How to recognise it

Double, ruffled rose-like blooms clustered on branching stems
Several flowers and buds open at different stages per stem
Smooth, oval, slightly waxy blue-green leaves in pairs
Sturdy, smooth, branching stems with no thorns
Buds are rounded and tightly whorled before opening

Care

Recut stems at an angle and remove any foliage that will sit below the waterline. Use clean water with flower food; eustoma is not very sensitive to ethylene but keep away from ripening fruit anyway. Change water every two to three days and recut stems to extend vase life. Keep away from direct heat and draughts.
