Rose-like double blooms on branching stems, many flowers and buds per stem
Thin wiry stems with a slight waxy bloom
Smooth oval grey-green leaves clasping the stem
Papery thin petals, crinkled texture typical of double lisianthus
No noticeable scent

Care

Strip any foliage that would sit below the waterline and recut stems at an angle before placing in clean water. Lisianthus is sensitive to bacteria, so keep water and buckets very clean and use flower food. It is not particularly ethylene sensitive but open blooms bruise easily, so handle gently. Keep away from direct heat and draughts.
