How to recognise it

Double, ruffled rose-like blooms on branching stems
Several buds and open flowers per stem
Smooth, grey-green, slightly waxy ovate leaves clasping the stem
Slender, smooth, hairless stems
Papery texture to petals when fully open

Care

Recut stems at an angle and remove any foliage that would sit below the waterline. Use clean water with flower food and keep away from ripening fruit as eustoma is sensitive to ethylene. Avoid overcrowding stems to prevent bruising of the delicate petals.
