Gerberas

New in

Gerberas are the cheerful ones: one big, flat, perfectly round bloom on a long stem, in colours that few other flowers reach — true orange, hot pink, scarlet, lemon and cream. This page gathers every bouquet in our London studio where gerberas are the main flower or a real part of the design: single-variety gerbera bouquets, mini gerberas, mixed bouquets that use them for colour, and hat boxes. Each one is hand-tied in our SE1 studio on the day it leaves, and orders placed by 10pm are delivered across London the same day, seven days a week.

Gerbera Bouquets

If you want gerberas and nothing to distract from them, start with the Mini gerbera bouquet — small-headed mini gerberas, the most compact design here. The Gerberas cream charm is fifteen cream gerberas, soft and calm, and the Pink pop – gerbera joy bouquet is the same idea in pink. For a gift with more weight, the Pink gerbera bouquet with white freesia adds scent from the freesia, the Blush gerbera & antique hydrangea dome is a rounded, tightly packed shape, and the Garnet noir sets deep red gerberas against lisianthus and eucalyptus.

Mixed Bouquets with Gerberas

In a mixed bouquet the gerbera is usually the flower that carries the colour. The Rainbow bouquet is built on them, with carnations and spray roses for the shades gerberas do not reach — more of that style is on our rainbow flowers page. Magenta meadow pairs them with roses, Meringue pastel adds callas, and Joy of colour puts them with sunflowers and carnations. For softer palettes there are Pastel morning charm, Soft notes in bloom and Romance florale; for red, Velvet passion mixes red roses with red gerberas. The larger statement pieces are Bluebell & Blush with hydrangeas and roses, and Harvest jewel with sunflowers and callas.

Gerberas in a Hat Box

A hat box arrives arranged and ready to stand on a table, with no vase to find. The Apricot cream hatbox is soft apricot and cream, the Velvet crush hat box is red roses, gerberas and callas, and the Scarlet gerbera & rose arrangement sits in a black box. Every boxed design we make is on the flower boxes page.

Gerberas — Questions We Are Asked

Are gerberas daisies?

Yes. Gerbera is a member of the daisy family from southern Africa, and it is the flower most people picture when they say “daisy”. Chamomile daisies, spray chrysanthemums and other daisy-shaped flowers are on our daisies page. For varieties such as mini gerberas, see our gerbera flower guide.

Can I order a gerbera bouquet for same-day delivery?

Yes. Orders placed by 10pm are delivered the same day anywhere in London, including weekends and bank holidays; a same-day order arrives during the day, and for a later date you choose a delivery window at checkout. Hand-tied bouquets and flower boxes also travel to mainland England, Wales and Scotland in 2–3 working days. A few designs here come in a vase, and anything in a vase is delivered within London only — its product page says so.

How long do gerberas last?

Gerberas are among the longest-lasting cut flowers we sell: ten days to two weeks in clean water. Their stems are hollow, so use a little water rather than a full vase, trim the stems at an angle and change the water every two days. More tips are in our guide to how long flowers last. Every bouquet carries our freshness guarantee: it stays fresh for at least three days from delivery when the care instructions are followed, or we replace it.

Are gerberas safe for cats and dogs?

Gerberas themselves are non-toxic to cats and dogs, and they have no scent, which makes single-variety gerbera bouquets a good choice for homes with pets and for someone who is sensitive to perfume. Mixed bouquets contain other flowers too, so check the pet note on each product page.

Can you make a gerbera bouquet in specific colours?

Often, yes. Tell us the colours in the order comment or by WhatsApp and a florist will build the bouquet around them where the day’s stock allows. Contact us with any question before you order.
