How to recognise it

Small double or semi-double flower heads compared to standard gerbera
Dark centre disc typical of the Espresso series
Sturdy straight stem with little to no foliage left on
Slightly hairy stem and rough mid-green leaves at base if present
Flower head faces upward on a rigid stem

Care

Recut stems under water and remove any foliage that will sit below the waterline. Use clean water with flower food, as gerberas are sensitive to bacteria and stem rot. Keep away from ethylene sources and direct sun. Support stems if they are weak, as gerbera stems can bend in the vase.
