How to recognise Tahiti mini gerbera, when it is in season and how to keep it fresh.
Recut stems under water and remove any lower leaves to avoid rot. Use a clean vase and gerbera-specific or low-dose flower food, as these stems are prone to bacterial blockage and bending. Keep away from ethylene sources and draughts, and change water every 1–2 days. Some florists support stems with a pin or wire through the head to prevent drooping.
